Which devices can I synchronize with my SABiDU® account?

The SABiDU® - Mobile Backup is generally independent of a certain device. This means that you can synchronize your SABiDU® account with more than one mobile phone, PC or Notebook.
The synchronization with PCs / Notebooks is only possible by use of an email-client. To use the SABiDU® - Mobile Backup with a mobile phone, the device needs to be syncML-capable.

What does syncML-capable mean?

SyncML is a standard that allows communication between computers and mobile phones.
To synchronize successfully, your mobile phone needs to support the syncML-standard.
At the moment, the SABiDU®- Mobile Backup supports about 400 different mobile phones. Our registered users can see which mobile phones are supported after a successful Login to their account. On this topic, you find detailed information here. If you do not have a SABiDU® account yet, you find out at the registration page if you can use the SABiDU®- Mobile Backup with your mobile phone. How do I find out if my mobile phone is supported?

You have various possibilities to check if your mobile phone is supported by SABiDU® - Mobile Backup. As a registered user you can see in your personal area which mobile phones are currently supported. Detailed information is provided here. I have a new mobile phone; can I still use my SABiDU®?

You can use the SABiDU®- Mobile Backup with over 400 different models of mobile phones. The only necessary feature of your device is that it is syncML-capable. To check, if your device is supported, you can go in your personal area to the button "Phone configuration" and choose manufacturer and model of your mobile phone. If your phone is listed, you can proceed with theconfiguration of your mobile phone and afterwards with the synchronization of your data.
