Change / Loss of device
The SABiDU® - Mobile Backup is generally independent of a certain device. This means that you can synchronize your contacts and calendar entries with more than one mobile phone. Nevertheless, it is important that the end device is syncML-capable and configured accordingly. To configure your new device choose "Phone configuration", the window below opens:
First define the manufacturer of the phone, then the model. Type in the number of your mobile phone and click to "Configure my phone". To the number you have typed in will be sent the configuration-SMS, which configures your mobile phone for the synchronization.
Open the SMS and confirm the installation. The mobile phone is afterwards configured with all necessary settings. If asked, type in the PIN to your mobile phone, which is shown on the screen below your mobile phone number.
After configuring your new device, you can start to synchronize.
If your phone is not listed, please contact us via email so we can take care of the matter as soon as possible.
