Installation and Configuration

Installation:

To synchronize your address book and calendar entries with your SABiDU® account the SABiDU® Plug-in for Outlook XP, 2003 and 2007 is required.

Download the file SABiDU® Outlook Plug-in in the Downloads section and open it. After accepting the License Agreement...

...the installation starts. Restart Outlook to make the changes effective. The Plug-in is shown in the toolbar now as "SABiDU".

Configuration:

After having restarted Outlook, choose the sub-point "Options" within the "SABiDU" toolbar. The window "SABiDU® Outlook Plug-in" opens, as shown below; here you choose "Tools" and then "Options".
Tools -> Options
Click the button "Account" and enter the URL: sync.sabidu.mobi/ds in the field "Location". In the blank "Username", enter your SABiDU® username that you have chosen during the registration process. In the blank "Password", enter your SABiDU® password. By clicking the "OK" button, you confirm your entries. After having entered the data into your account, click "Sync".
The view Synchronization defines the specific settings for the synchronization. Here you can define which data would you like to synchronize and via the option "Synchronize every" you can set a schedule for the synchronization. The option "Enable encryption" encodes the data during the synchronization. You do not have to activate this option, because the SABiDU® Outlook Plug-in automatically encodes your data. This is visible, after you have synchronized for the first time, in the Account view of Plug-in Options.
Please confirm the settings by clicking to "OK".

Uninstalling the SABiDU® Plugin:

The plug-in can be removed via the Windows feature "Change or remove programs".
Go to "Start" then to "Control panel" and then to "Software".
The window below opens.

Select the SABiDU® Plug-in and click "Change/Remove".
